Former Prudential director to head up distribution team as membership grows

LOUISVILLE, KY, January 31, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — DPL Financial Partners, the leading insurance platform for registered investment advisors, announced today the appointment of Michael Titus as senior vice president, distribution. Titus will oversee DPL’s team of advisor-facing insurance consultants.

“As DPL’s reach expands to more than 3,500 RIA firms with access to our platform, Mike’s extensive experience leading and optimizing distribution teams to serve advisor needs for insurance solutions will be invaluable,” said Tom Smith, DPL’s chief growth officer. “His previous work in carrier and wirehouse distribution channels makes him a natural fit to lead our team and we’re excited to have him join us.”

Prior to joining DPL, Titus was director of internal sales at Prudential Financial and drove internal sales operations. Previous roles at Prudential included managing the wirehouse channel and, before that, serving as a senior sales consultant. Before entering insurance distribution, Titus was an attorney at Harris and Harris and a law clerk in the Montgomery County Courts in Pennsylvania.

Titus earned his JD from Villanova and was a Sloan Fellow at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
