Since reemerging as a solo artist, Nia Dinero is creating a lane for herself. Coining the term Hip-Pop, she redefines her presence and artistry in the music industry. While “Birthday” brings an edgy upbeat flow to listeners’ ears, Nia sheds light on her upbringing and rise in the music industry as an artist. “Mediate” showcases Nia’s diapason from sensual yet witty lyrics to a pop-soul flow.

When asked about the inspiration behind her two new singles, Nia Dinero said, “Going through the pandemic, like many creatives, I forced myself to figure out who I was both personally and professionally. “Birthday” was created from a space of confidence and celebration. I went through a hard season of rediscovery working on my mental health and self-esteem and figuring out who I was both personally and professionally. Birthday represents me getting to the other side of my process and finally enjoying life again. “Meditate” was created from a personal conversation on my views on love and what I desire beyond the surface. I’m really BIG on self-care and putting yourself in the best position towards ultimate “wholeness” especially in love! Both singles are an expression of who I am and whats to come with my music and artistry.”

Being introduced to the music scene at a young age, Nia continues to use her experiences and talent to showcase her broad range of lyrical poise, edginess, sophistication, and excellence. Nia’s music has gained over 85000 YouTube views and has been featured on popular DMV radio stations like 93.9 WKYS and WPGC 95.5. The ASCAP member, debut visual album, “Just For Now,” distributed by Tunecore, is set to release this summer.
